San Rafael Girls Softball and Terra Linda Boys Baseball Team
Every year Valley Orthodontics sponsors a Girls Softball team and a Boys Baseball team. This year we enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful floats and meeting the teams while handing out free popcorn at the opening day celebrations!
Lucas Valley Lightning Swim Team
Valley Orthodontics believes in promoting sportsmanship, team spirit and fun in our community. We are proud of all of the LV Lightning athletes!
Kindergarten Adopt-a-School Program: Vallecito, Dixie & Mary E. Silveira Elementary Schools
As a member and representative of the Marin County Dental Society, each year Dr. Rocha and her team visits our local elementary kindergarten classes and teaches the students about the importance of good oral health and nutrition.
"Oral Health and Nutrition" First Grade Field Trips: Vallecito, Dixie and Mary E. Silviera Elementary Schools
Every year Valley Orthodontics invites the local first grade classes to the office for a fun and educational field trip where the students learn about proper tooth brushing and flossing, healthy and unhealthy foods, and how teeth develop. The students especially like taking impressions of their fingers. We hear from several teachers that this is their favorite field trip of the year!
College of Marin, Dental Assisting Program
Every year Dr. Rocha had the opportunity to visit the College of Marin Dental Assisting Program to teach the students basic orthdontic principles. She enjoys being able to do this, as most of our staff have graduated from the program. Many of the students also come to Valley Orthodontics for their internship and gain skills and experience in a private practice setting.
